Danielle K. Shah, BS, PT is a Denver native who returned to her hometown in 2005. She trained as a physical therapist at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating in 1997. She practiced for several years before having a family. As a natural caregiver, she focused on raising her kids. With her medical background, she found it a natural fit to develop a boutique post-surgery care service to help plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery patients from Denver and the surrounding regions with their aftercare needs to ensure an optimal outcome after surgery. Danielle has experience helping patients who have had plastic surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedic surgery, and general surgery procedures. She provides the best post surgery care for patients from Denver and the surrounding areas!
SERVICES:
- Peri-operative care – to make sure that you are properly prepared for your plastic or cosmetic surgery procedure
- Post-operative care – to ensure that you recover as efficiently and safely as possible from your plastic or cosmetic surgery procedure
- Monitoring of vital signs
- Ambulation assistance – to reduce the chances of pneumonia or deep vein thrombosis (blood clots) after surgery, this includes pneumatic leg compression while in bed
- Medication management – to optimize pain control and reduce the chances of medication errors after your plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedure
- Wound management – help teach wound and drain care
- Dietary management – to make sure you heal properly and reduce the chances of poor wound healing after your plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedure
- Transportation – from surgery, to post-operative appointments if necessary, to and from airport, medication delivery, groceries
- Other services: lymphatic massage, walker, cool mist humidifier, ice packs
- For out of town guests: microwave, filtered water pitcher, eating utensils, dishware
- Communication with your surgeon after procedures for questions and concerns

I wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation for Danielle for her exceptional care and support during my recovery. She was incredibly efficient in managing my needs especially medications, meals and massages. It truly was extremely reassuring to know i had someone who was so skilled and qualified by my side.

In May 2024, I had the good fortune to have Danielle Shah as my caregiver for 3 days following facial surgery. From my first text with Danielle, I realized that she was extremely knowledgeable with her healthcare background. I learned more from her than any other caregiver I had contacted. From the moment she picked me up from surgery, she “took over” and got me safely settled into the hotel apartment. She is very organized and she promptly reviewed all the medications and set up a medication schedule and a Face and Suture Care schedule. She ran necessary errands for me. She delivered me to post op appts and ER visit (not related to her care). Originally, I thought that I could stay with a family member at her home while I recuperated. I quickly realized that it is VERY IMPORTANT to have a medical background, skilled caregiver. You will not regret allowing Danielle to care for you following surgery. She is warm, patient, and kind. Knowing she is with you, allows you to rest and not worry about anything. She goes above and beyond in everything she does. She is like having a dear friend care for you. Best Wishes Danielle!
Danielle just finished working for me during post operative care. She did a great job caring for me and making sure I had an optimal outcome after my surgery. Always pleasant and helpful and did great with my 2 dogs. I would definitely have Danielle care for me again.
I received exceptional services il and care post a surgery I had in early November 2021. Danielle was knowledgeable about the level support I needed. I experienced low oxygen levels post my surgery. She closely monitored my oxygen levels and insured I receive the additional medical care. Her assistance, professionalism and tender care was greatly appreciated!
In a word, Danielle is amazing. I had a difficult neck surgery and was in Denver alone. I heard about Danielle from another patient. Before I arrived Danielle was communicating with me about housing and food choices and pain management and other things. She decided to stay over the first 4 nights, on the couch in the Residence in. I was in pain and unable to handle anything. Danielle took charge and did it all. She was there when i woke up in post op and helped to organize my discharge. She efficiently managed my pain. She made smoothies and blended soups that I could manage to swallow. She brought vaporizers and scented oils and she massaged my head and shoulders. She kept me supplied with ice packs to reduce swelling. She never left me.
When I was well enough she took me for walks. And rides in the hills around Denver. She became my friend.
She went to the post op appointment with me a week after the surgery. She asked intelligent and relevant questions of my surgeon.
I have never been so well cared for. I would give Danielle the highest recommendation I can give. She was amazing.
